Friday morning, and the coffee hasn't even finished dripping. Somewhere between the alarm and your first real breath, Someone was already in the room, already loving you, already hoping you'd turn His way before the day pulled you elsewhere.
"I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me." — Proverbs 8:17 (KJV)
This morning's prayer Lord, before my hands find my phone or my mind finds my worries, let me find You. You said You love those who love You, and that the ones who seek You early are the ones who meet You. So here I am, early, searching. Not because You hide, but because I get distracted. Clear the static in me this morning. Let my first real thought be Yours, not my to-do list. Walk with me into this Friday — into traffic, into deadlines, into whatever waits on my desk. I want to find You there too, not just here in the quiet. Amen.
Today, on purpose:
Pray before checking any screen this morning.
Thank God by name for one specific gift.
