Good morning, and welcome to Tuesday. Somewhere a carpenter is already at his bench before the coffee's cold, and so is your Father — sleeves rolled up, still working on the house that is you.
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." — Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
This morning's prayer Lord, thank You for starting something in me that I could never finish alone. Some days I feel like scaffolding and sawdust, half-built, still full of gaps. Remind me this morning that You don't abandon a project halfway through. The patience You've shown me before, show me again today — in traffic, in hard conversations, in my own slow progress. Let me trust Your hands more than my own timeline. Whatever You began in me, keep shaping it, plank by plank, until it looks like Christ. I don't have to finish myself. I just have to stay on the workbench. Amen.
Today, on purpose:
Trust unfinished parts of yourself to God's patience.
Offer one kind word before noon.
Notice small progress instead of demanding perfection.
