Thursday light is climbing over the fence line, quiet and unhurried. Whatever kept you awake last night, it does not own this hour. Sit up, breathe, and let the day find you.
"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." — Psalm 30:5 (KJV)
This morning's prayer Father, thank You for turning the page on the night. Whatever anger or trouble touched me, I trust it was only for a moment — Your favor is the longer story, the one that lasts my whole life. Where I carried grief to bed, meet me now with gladness instead. Loosen my shoulders. Steady my thoughts. Let me walk into Thursday believing that joy is not a rumor but a promise already arriving. Thank You for every ordinary mercy waiting in this day — warm water, a working heart, a door I can walk through. Keep my eyes open for the good You're already doing. Amen.
Today, on purpose:
Name one worry, then hand it to God fully.
Smile at someone before checking your phone.
Thank God for one thing before you complain about anything.
