A Dry Land Still Has a Spring

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

Wednesday morning, and maybe you woke up feeling parched inside — tired, stretched thin, running on empty before your feet even hit the floor. Come here a moment. There's water for that kind of thirst.

"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is."
— Psalm 63:1 (KJV)
This morning's prayer
God, You are my God. Before the coffee, before the noise, I want You first. My soul is dry ground today — cracked, needing something real. I'm not thirsty for more hours or more answers. I'm thirsty for You. Meet me the way water meets a parched field, soaking down deep where nothing else can reach. Let my longing for You outpace my longing for anything this day offers. Fill what's empty in me. Steady what's shaking. And when the hours get dry again, remind me where the spring is. I seek You early. I seek You now. Amen.
