Unshaken, Because He Never Leaves

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

Good morning, and welcome to Friday. Somewhere a kettle is starting to sing and the light is only just finding your window. Come in from the edges — there's a steady place for you here.

"God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early."
— Psalm 46:5 (KJV)
This morning's prayer
Lord, thank You for staying close through the night. I don't have to search for You this morning; You are already here, in the middle of my ordinary rooms and my racing thoughts. Steady me the way a strong hand steadies a wobbling table. When today tips toward worry, remind me You sit at the center of it, not the edge. Help me early, Lord — before the noise builds, before my nerves do. Let Your nearness be the floor I stand on, not something I have to reach for. Make me calm enough today to be useful to someone who isn't. Amen.

Today, on purpose:
