Tonight's prayer Father, I'm done bracing for the day. My body knows it's over even before my mind catches up — heavy eyes, slow breath, the pillow finally winning. You said I could lie down without fear, so I'm taking You at Your word tonight. Quiet the loop of things I meant to fix. Let sleep come easy and sweet, the kind that doesn't need convincing. Thank You for this bed, this roof, this ordinary safe night. Thank You for watching so I don't have to. I'm grateful, Lord, truly. Goodnight.
