Tonight's prayer Father, my body is tired and my mind is finally slowing down. Thank You that I don't have to keep watch over my own life tonight — You already are. My foot won't slip, because Your grip doesn't loosen, not even for a moment. While I sleep, You'll be awake, steady, unhurried, watching over this house and everyone in it. I don't have to earn that care or stay alert to keep it. It's simply Yours to give. Thank You for a love that never needs a break. I rest easy in that tonight.
