Unbuckle the Pack You've Carried All Day

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

The dishes are still in the sink and the last email never got answered — let it wait. Your shoulders have been hunched since morning, holding a weight nobody could see. Set it down now, right here at the edge of the bed, and let your arms finally hang loose.

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
— Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer
Lord, I'm tired in ways sleep alone won't fix. You said come to you when I'm worn out, so here I am, hands open, nothing left to prove tonight. Take what I've been hauling — the worry, the striving, the long list of shoulds. I don't need to carry it into my dreams. Let my breathing slow, let my mind unclench, let this bed feel like your open hand beneath me. Thank you for calling tired people like me by name and making room for us to rest. Thank you for this quiet, ordinary night. Amen.
Blessing for your rest
May the Lord ease every knot in your shoulders and every knot in your mind tonight, and may your household rest under His wide, unhurried care until morning.

Have Providence read you to sleep
