Tonight's prayer Lord, I lay my body down and let the day fall away from me — the errands, the small worries, the words I wish I'd said better. You are not tired. You are not far off. You alone make this bed a safe place, this dark a kind one. I don't have to guard my own sleep tonight; You already are. So I close my eyes without a single fear in my hands. Thank You for this quiet, for breath that keeps coming, for a home to rest in and a God who never blinks. Goodnight, and thank You.
