Let the dishes sit in the sink and the last email stay unread. Your mind can stop circling the list now — the calls to return, the decision you keep putting off. None of it needs your worry to survive the night; it will still be there tomorrow, and so will you.
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." — Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer Lord, my thoughts have run every direction today, and I want to bring them home to You now. Steady my mind the way You steady a tree in wind — not by stopping the wind, but by holding the roots. I trust You with what I can't finish and what I don't understand. I don't need to solve anything else tonight. Thank You for this bed, this quiet room, the people breathing softly nearby, and for being the kind of God who keeps His word while I sleep. I'm grateful, Lord. Truly grateful. Amen.
Blessing for your rest May your mind rest easy and your heart stay fixed on Him who never slips, never tires, never leaves — goodnight, and peace to everyone under your roof.
