The dishes can sit in the sink till morning, and the email that never got answered can wait for the sun to come up. Your phone stops buzzing now, the porch light goes dim, and the house settles into its familiar creaks. Let the list you didn't finish fall quietly off your shoulders.
"Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation." — Psalm 62:1 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer Father, my soul stops striving and simply waits on You tonight. I don't have to solve what's unsolved or fix what's still broken — my help was never going to come from my own hustling anyway. It comes from You, and only You. So I lay down the phone, the worry, the ten little battles of today, and I rest in the truth that You are already working while I sleep. Thank You for being my rock, my quiet place, my rescue before I even ask. Thank You for loving me enough to let me simply wait. Amen.
Blessing for your rest May your household sleep under a peace that isn't earned, only given, and may your soul wake tomorrow still leaning on the God who never once let go of you. Goodnight, and rest easy — help is already on its way.
