Safe With the God Who Never Lies

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

The dishes wait in the sink, and that's fine. Your phone is finally dark, the group chat still open on tomorrow's plans, and your shoulders can finally drop from where they've been sitting near your ears all day. Whatever you didn't finish, didn't say right, or didn't get to — set it down. It will still be there in the morning, but so will He.

"Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth."
— Psalm 31:5 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer
Father, I give you this day, worn out and unfinished as it is. I hand over my thoughts, my worries, my very breath tonight — not because I've earned rest, but because you are true. You've never once lied to me, never once let me fall through your fingers. So I'm not holding tight anymore. I'm letting my eyes close, trusting you to keep what I can't. Thank you for being the kind of God whose word doesn't wobble, whose love doesn't run out, and whose hands are steady even when mine shake. Amen.
Blessing for your rest
Sleep now — you're held by Someone who cannot lie and cannot let you go. May your house grow quiet, your breathing grow slow, and morning find you still safe in His truth.

Have Providence read you to sleep
