Romans 12:2 begins with a gentle warning and ends with a wonderful promise. The warning is not to be squeezed into the mold of the world around us. The promise is that God is ready to do something far better: to transform us, little by little, from within.
Notice that the change begins in the mind. Not in trying harder, not in a dramatic makeover, but in the quiet renewing of how we think. Each morning offers a fresh chance to let God's truth settle in beside our habits and assumptions. A few minutes in Scripture, a whispered prayer on the way to work, a grateful thought before sleep: these small moments are where the Spirit loves to do His patient work. Renewal is not a single event but a daily rhythm of turning toward Him.
And look at where it leads: a life that can discern what is good, acceptable, and perfect. God's will is not a burden hidden from us. It is a good gift, and He delights to show it to those who lean in and listen. Today, take one small step to let your thoughts be shaped by Him. Trust that He is already at work, and He finishes what He begins.
