Let the Snow Settle in Its Glass

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

The dryer buzzed an hour ago and the towels are still inside. A few texts sit unanswered, tomorrow's calendar is crowded, and the dishes will keep until morning. Let it all lie exactly where it fell.

"Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation."
— Psalm 62:1 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer
Lord, my soul is a shaken glass tonight, and You are holding it still. I watch the flakes drift down: the meeting, the money, the words I wish I'd said. They settle without any help from me. Truly, my soul waits on You. Not on my list, not on my own strength. From You comes my salvation, whole and already given. I don't have to carry what You are carrying. I'll close my eyes and let the quiet fill the room. Keep watch over the people under this roof. Thank You for a love that asks nothing more of me tonight. Amen.
Blessing for your rest
May the God who never shakes hold you and your house in a deep, clear stillness tonight. Sleep well, and wake to find everything still in His hands.

Have Providence read you to sleep
