Hope Is the Ground You Sleep On

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

Let the day fall out of your hands now — the emails still blinking, the dishes still stacked, the calls you meant to return. None of it needs you standing guard over it anymore. The porch light is on, the doors are shut, and the night doesn't require your help to keep turning.

"And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety."
— Job 11:18 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer
Father, I set down everything I was carrying today — the small worries, the long list, the words I wish I'd chosen better. Thank You for hope that doesn't wait for morning to start holding me. Thank You for a house with walls and a bed that fits my tired body. I don't have to dig for safety tonight; You've already staked it down around me. Let my breathing slow, let my thoughts go quiet, let sleep come easy and deep. Thank You for another day lived, another night given, another chance tomorrow to know You more. I'm grateful, Lord. Truly grateful.
Blessing for your rest
Sleep well tonight, friend — the ground beneath you is steadier than you know, and His hands are still open over your home. Rest now; hope isn't going anywhere before morning.

Have Providence read you to sleep
