Turn Your Thoughts Toward Home Tonight

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

Let the dishes wait in the sink and the laundry sit folded halfway. The phone can rest face-down on the nightstand, unanswered messages and all. Turn onto your side, breathe out the day, and let your last thoughts drift toward the One who never sleeps.

"When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches."
— Psalm 63:6 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer
Father, my head is finally on the pillow and my hands are still. The day is done — the good parts and the hard parts both. Instead of replaying worries, let me think of You now: Your kindness this morning, Your patience with me all afternoon, Your steady presence even when I forgot to notice it. Meet me in this quiet hour like an old friend pulling up a chair. Whatever wakes me in the night, let my first thought be of You, not my troubles. Thank You for this bed, this roof, this breath. Thank You for loving me all day long. Goodnight, Lord.
Blessing for your rest
Rest now, and let your last thought tonight be a grateful one turned toward heaven. May peace fill this room and every heart under this roof until morning light.

Have Providence read you to sleep
