Picture a wide canyon with a family waiting on the far side. Nobody can jump it, and no amount of effort can shorten the distance. Then you notice that someone has already built a bridge, and it is strong enough to hold you.
When Jesus says, "I am the way," He is not handing us a map and wishing us luck. He is telling us that He Himself is the crossing. We don't have to earn our way to the Father by being good enough, wise enough, or tidy enough. He has already spanned the distance, and He invites us to come over.
He is also the truth, so we can trust what He says about the Father's welcome. He is the life, so what waits on the other side is a real, living relationship and not just a destination. Today, you don't need to prove anything or carry the weight of getting there on your own. Step onto what Christ has already finished, and notice how firm it is under your feet. The Father is not far off, and He has been watching the road with open arms.
