Have you ever wondered what God thinks when he thinks of you? Many of us quietly assume it is a sigh, a frown, or a list of ways we have fallen short. Jeremiah 29:11 gently corrects us. The Lord says, "I know the thoughts that I think toward you," and then he tells us what they are: thoughts of peace, and not of evil.
Think of a parent standing in a doorway at night, watching a child sleep. There is no scorekeeping in that gaze, only tenderness and quiet hope for the days ahead. That is a small picture of how your heavenly Father regards you. His thoughts toward you are not scattered or anxious. They are steady, purposeful, and good, and they have been since before you were born.
The old phrase "an expected end" means a future he has already looked ahead to and prepared with care. You may not see how it all fits together, and you don't have to. Today, simply rest in knowing that you are thought of warmly. Let that settle over your morning like sunlight through a open door, and walk into the day unhurried, loved, and full of hope.
