The Only Road That Leads Home

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
— John 14:6 (KJV)

There are so many paths people try in this life, each promising to lead somewhere good. But Jesus does not offer directions among many options; He simply says, I am the way. Not a way, not one path among several, but the way itself, the truth itself, the life itself. When we come to Him, we are not choosing a route to God, we are meeting God face to face.

This is such good news for anyone who has felt lost or unsure which direction to take. You do not need a map made of your own good works or a ladder built from your own understanding. Jesus already walked the road for you, opening the way to the Father through His life, death, and resurrection. All that is left is to walk with Him, trusting that He knows exactly where He is going.

So today, if your heart feels uncertain, let this truth settle you. You are not wandering without hope. You have a guide who is also the destination, a truth who never changes, a life that cannot end. Wherever your day takes you, you can walk it with quiet confidence, knowing the way home to the Father is already open and His name is Jesus.

Today's prayer
Thank You, Jesus, for being my way, my truth, and my life, and for opening the door to the Father through Your love. I rejoice knowing I am never lost when I am walking with You. Fill my heart with peace and joy today as I follow the path You have already made straight.
